I&#8217;ll also be providing some practical reforms to help ensure a more prosperous future for our children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Today we&#8217;re going to be&nbsp;discussing:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>How the modern American education system was established and by whom.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The evolution of the modern education system in America and why it is the way it is today.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Why you should care\/need to know this stuff.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Today I will attempt to answer those age-old questions every student has asked at least once in class, &#8220;why am I here?&#8221; and &#8220;why do I have to learn this? &nbsp;I&#8217;m never going to use it in my real life!&#8221; &nbsp;Well, good news! &nbsp;It&#8217;s not just you and it really doesn&#8217;t make sense for you from an overall economic standpoint either. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Don&#8217;t worry, I&#8217;m not going to leave you hanging with a bunch of bad news and cynicism. &nbsp;I&#8217;m going to offer some of my thoughts on ways that we can better equip our youth to not just succeed, but thrive in an ever-evolving economic environment. &nbsp;The solutions I present go far beyond the classroom and employment.
